Liberty Healthcare is now hiring for a full-time Assessor position. This is a field-based role which will allow you to primarily work remotely from home and also require you to travel to client locations throughout the region.

As an Assessor with Liberty Healthcare, your responsibilities and everyday work will include:

  • Leading in person and virtual meetings with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or autism, as well as their family members and caregivers
  • Gathering and interpreting pertinent information from individuals and their families and caregivers
  • Using standardized assessment tools to help determine needs for services and supports
  • Completing structured reports within established deadlines

As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role, you can expect:

  • Annual compensation of $48,000 (paid $23.07 per hour)
  • $500 new hire sign on bonus ($250 paid at 90 days and $250 paid at 180 days)

You’re a good fit for an Assessor position with Liberty if you possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, nursing, or related field
  • Professional or personal experience serving people who have autism and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Solid verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage people in productive conversations
  • Solid written communication, computer, active listening, and analytical skills
  • Residence in the State of Idaho

You must also be very organized, self-motivated, independent and able to be productive in an autonomous role.

You have relevant work experience and transferrable skills if you’ve worked as a Direct Support Professional, Social Worker, Healthcare or Human Services Intake / Admissions Specialist, Case Manager, Social Services Professional, Service Coordinator, Case Worker or Client Advocate.
