Job Description

About Us

At Ailevate, we believe AI should do the work —not create more of it. Our platform powers fully autonomous AI agents that operate behind the scenes, eliminating friction, resolving tasks in real time, and recovering revenue with zero manual intervention.

Our roots are in healthcare, where revenue cycle challenges are complex and constant. Ailevate’s AI agents are purpose-built to tackle these pain points—from denial resolution to claims optimization—helping providers recover more revenue, faster, with less human effort.

Built for businesses that demand more from their technology, Ailevate delivers secure, on-prem, and cost-effective AI solutions that quietly transform operations. No hand-holding. Just results. From denial management in healthcare to operational workflows across industries, we’re making AI as effortless—and powerful—as it should be.

Your Role

As a Technical Writer at Ailevate, you will serve at the critical intersection of engineering excellence, customer enablement, and healthcare innovation. Your role goes beyond traditional documentation—you will craft the narrative that helps our users, partners, and internal teams fully understand and harness the power of our AI agents, including our flagship product, Revenue Recovery , which empowers healthcare providers to autonomously recover denied claims and optimize their revenue cycles.

You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to translate complex technical architectures and system behaviors into clear, accurate, and actionable documentation. Your work ensures that developers can integrate faster, customers can onboard more effectively, and internal teams can scale knowledge-sharing efficiently—ultimately improving healthcare outcomes through seamless AI adoption.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop technical content that directly enables customer success, operational transparency, and product scalability—including API references, integration guides, and onboarding manuals.
  • Act as a strategic partner across the product lifecycle, from concept to release, ensuring documentation reflects and supports evolving technical architecture and customer needs.
  • Shape documentation best practices by establishing consistent style guides, content strategies, and reusable templates to support rapid iteration and team scalability.
  • Distill AI-specific and healthcare-centric concepts into approachable, accurate language that empowers technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Contribute to onboarding and training strategies by creating supplemental materials, such as interactive tutorials, diagrams, and in-app content, that accelerate user proficiency and system adoption.
  • Maintain documentation in alignment with version control practices and agile development workflows, ensuring timely, accurate releases of supporting content alongside feature rollouts.

Your work will directly shape how our users experience, integrate, and trust Ailevate's AI platform. This is a high-impact role ideal for writers who thrive on clarity, enjoy working closely with technical teams, and are excited to contribute to the transformation of healthcare through autonomous AI solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, API references, integration manuals, and internal knowledge bases.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and accessible content for diverse audiences, including developers, system administrators, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and customer success teams to gather information and ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of documentation standards and best practices to support scalability and consistency across all materials.
  • Assist in creating training materials and tutorials to facilitate user onboarding and product adoption.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–5+ years of experience in technical writing or content development for software products, preferably in AI, healthcare, or enterprise software domains.
  • Proficiency in authoring tools and markup languages such as Markdown, HTML, or XML.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence).
  • Strong ability to understand and explain complex technical systems and processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience using Readme.com
  • Familiarity with AI concepts, machine learning, or healthcare revenue cycle management.
  • Experience working in a startup environment or with cross-functional agile teams.
  • Ability to create visual aids, such as diagrams or flowcharts, to complement written content.
