Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented service writer to join our team. The service writer will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients who require automotive maintenance and repair services. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work well under pressure. The service advisor will be responsible for ensuring that all customers are satisfied with the services provided and that all repairs and maintenance work are completed to the highest of standards. Requirements:
● At least 2 years’ proven experience in sales, customer relations or related positions.
● Basic automotive technical knowledge.
● Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
● Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills.
● Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, prioritize and manage time effectively.
● High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
● Bilingual (Spanish – English) preferred, but not required.
Job functions:
● Greet customers and identify customer needs for automotive repairs and maintenance services.
● Schedule appointments for customers and coordinate work with automotive technicians.
● Manage large amounts of incoming calls.
● Provide customers with accurate estimates of repair costs and timelines and explain repairs or maintenance services needed.
● Write repair orders, create invoices, and process payments.
● Communicate effectively with technicians about repairs and updates to ensure timely completion of service.
● Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their vehicle and any changes to their estimate or repair plan.
● Recommend additional services or repairs that are necessary or beneficial to the customers’ vehicle.
● Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or complaints. Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
● Maintain accurate and up to date customer and vehicle information in the shop's computer system.
● Follow up with customers after service is completed to ensure their satisfaction and answer any questions they may have.
● Maintain a clean and organized work area, including service desk and waiting area.
● Other tasks as assigned.

Schedule:
We are open from Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Schedule will typically be Monday through Friday from either 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM OR 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Schedules may alternate weekly. Schedule will be determined at the time of hire.
Salary / Compensation:
● $700 - $1,000 a week based on experience plus monthly bonus based on gross profit. Salary to be discussed at the time of hire.
