Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering management, project management, environmental science, energy, law, public relations, or a related field. Work Experience: At least 5 years of project development experience in the energy, infrastructure, or a similar sector, with at least 2 years in roles involving government relations. Familiarity with local government policies and regulations, and experience working with government departments, public institutions, and related industry bodies. Previous experience in large IPPs (Independent Power Producers) or similar companies is a plus. Skills & Abilities: Strong government relations management skills, with a deep understanding of local policies and regulations, and a solid network of government contacts. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan and implement complex projects independently while coordinating resources effectively. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities, with a track record of successfully delivering projects in challenging environments. Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills, able to work under pressure and resolve issues swiftly. Language Requirements: Excellent written and spoken English Government Relations Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, regulatory bodies, local leaders, and other relevant stakeholders to create a favorable policy environment for the company’s projects. Monitor and analyze local policy changes, providing policy advice and recommendations to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Assist the company in securing government support, funding, and resources for projects, and facilitate smooth approval processes. Project Development & Management: Lead the full-cycle development of large-scale projects (including but not limited to energy, infrastructure, etc.), including project initiation, planning, design, bidding, contract negotiation, and implementation. Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and risk assessments to ensure the successful progression and execution of projects. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of all project development phases, including financing, resources, technology, and construction. Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficient project execution.
