The Role: Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Legal Counsel to join a globally renowned law firm recognized for its unparalleled expertise in litigation, corporate transactions, and regulatory matters. In this position, you will:

Strategic Legal Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor in handling the firms most complex legal matters, including multi-jurisdictional litigation and high-profile corporate transactions.
  • Provide expert guidance on antitrust, regulatory compliance, white-collar investigations, and other critical legal areas central to the firms expertise.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive legal strategies to mitigate risk and achieve optimal client outcomes.

Litigation Excellence

  • Lead strategy development for complex commercial disputes, class actions, appellate work, and high-stakes arbitration.
  • Represent clients in major litigation matters across industries, including technology, real estate, life sciences, and energy.
  • Manage all aspects of trial preparation, including drafting briefs, overseeing discovery, and coordinating expert testimony.
  • Advocate effectively in federal and state courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court and appellate courts.

Corporate Advisory and Transactions

  • Guide clients on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and cross-border transactions, ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Lead negotiations for high-value deals, drafting and reviewing contracts, and ensuring seamless execution of transactions.
  • Provide strategic counsel on securities law, capital markets, and risk management issues.

Mentorship and Development

  • Lead by example in mentoring junior attorneys, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Offer thought leadership through training initiatives and insights into emerging legal trends and best practices.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-profile clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored legal solutions.
  • Provide proactive advice to anticipate and address client challenges in a dynamic legal landscape.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who bring the following qualifications and attributes:

Experience and Expertise

  • At least 10+ years of experience in a senior legal role, including high-stakes litigation, regulatory matters, and corporate transactions.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-jurisdictional cases and delivering innovative legal solutions.

Educational Credentials

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school with outstanding academic credentials.
  • Federal judicial clerkship experience, particularly with U.S. Courts of Appeals or the U.S. Supreme Court, is highly valued.
  • Active bar membership in good standing, with eligibility to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
