Job Summary:
The HVAC Controls/TAB (Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing)/Commissioning Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of HVAC system controls, performance testing, and commissioning processes. This role ensures that systems are installed, calibrated, and optimized to meet design specifications, operational efficiency, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of all commissioning and TAB activities.
Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure project goals align with system specifications and requirements.
Track and report progress, identifying and resolving project risks or delays.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC controls, TAB, or commissioning roles, with at least 2 years in a management capacity.
Skills & Knowledge :
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, control systems, and building automation.
Familiarity with energy codes, ASHRAE standards, and LEED commissioning processes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, specifications, and control schematics.
Excellent project management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
