The Department of Psychology at Central Michigan University (CMU) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August, 2025. The successful candidate will join our School Psychology Programs as well as a department with 22 faculty members.
Responsibilities include (a) teaching graduate and undergraduate courses; (b) advising graduate and undergraduate student research; ( c) maintaining an independent program of scholarly research; and (d) providing service to the department, college, university, community, and profession.Central Michigan University is dedicated to fostering a broadly diverse and inclusive campus that respects all social identities, experiences, and perspectives. The School Psychology Programs at CMU are grounded in the scientist-practitioner tradition. Our Specialist Program is NASP-approved, and our Doctoral Program is APA-accredited. Although we are phasing out our Doctoral Program over the next few years, we are currently focused on expanding capacity of and enrollment in our Specialist Program.
