The Medical/Surgical ICU is a brand new 10 bed unit at Tufts Medical Center offering around-the-clock monitoring and the latest in state-of-the-art approaches, including mechanical ventilation, continuous hemodialysis, specialized endoscopy, and other support measures. Staff on this unit is experienced in caring for patients with a broad range of illnesses, including sepsis and septic shock and respiratory failure due to pneumonia, asthma, COPD, and acute respiratory distress as well as other medical and surgical related conditions. This depth and breadth of expertise have made our ICU a regional referral center for critically ill patients.

EDUCATION

BSN
BLS Certification required

EXPERIENCE

2-3 years of ICU experience is highly preferred

LICENSE

Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse License
