Job Description

We are looking for a remote Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong financial background to oversee the accounting operations for a range of companies and investments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books, preparing financial statements, managing expense allocations across various entities, and ensuring that all financial records are in order ahead of the quarterly tax season.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping

Oversee bookkeeping activities, including weekly and monthly closing processes
Prepare detailed financial statements, ensuring accuracy and clarity
Allocate expenses appropriately across multiple entities
Tax Preparation

Organize and prepare all financial books and statements in advance of quarterly tax filing
Stay up-to-date with tax regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws
Requirements:

Technical Skills

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CPA
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools
In-depth understanding of tax codes, tax laws, and regulations
Experience with financial forecasting and risk analysis
Soft Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders
Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy in all tasks
Mentality

Proactive and solution-oriented in identifying and addressing challenges
Strong ethical principles, with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity
Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct oversight
