We are seeking a seasoned automotive professional who will grow our parts department. The position will oversee a team of 3 associates in addition to overseeing parts sales for new and used vehicles, the dealership’s own service needs, and our parts buying clients.
We are looking for a unique type of leader; So let us share the characteristics we are seeking. Our Parts Manager will be both a very organized and “hands-on” leader.
· Our Parts Manager will have a vision and a game plan to keep the service department working efficiently
· Develop parts staff
· Hold staff accountable for their success
To help ensure a great fit for both the candidate and the company, we are seeking candidates with the following experience/skills/attributes:
· proven ability to lead and manage a busy automotive dealership’s parts department
· ability and desire to coach, mentor, and train associates
· ability to control expenses
· good inventory management
· ability to work in or relocate to a small city north of Duluth
