An accounting firm is seeking an Office Manager Assistant/Accountant who will be responsible for maintaining the monthly client deadline listing and ensuring all taxes and payroll returns are completed and filed on time. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

Act as leaderships "right-hand" and assist in management meetings, client outreach, and various duties to drive the firm forward
Assemble individual and business tax returns to be delivered to the client
Utilize internal software systems to create monthly reports related to workload management, billing, etc.
Execute and oversee firm financials, such as payroll, billing, and collections
Prepare some payroll and individual tax returns

Job Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Must have QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook knowledge
Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines is required
Must have the ability to act as gatekeeper and escalate relevant information to the partners as needed
Must be comfortable standing at a copy machine for a good portion of some days
Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
