Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a short term contract basis in North Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will support various HR functions, including recruitment, benefits administration, and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a non-profit organization and utilize your HR expertise. Responsibilities: - Assist with managing employee records and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. - Support the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews. - Process background checks and verify employment documents as part of the hiring process. - Administer employee benefits programs and respond to related inquiries. - Utilize HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian to maintain accurate data and generate reports. - Conduct audits of HR documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance. - Provide exceptional customer service to employees by addressing HR-related questions and concerns. - Collaborate with management to improve HR processes and ensure efficient workflows. Requirements - Experience with HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or similar tools. - Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment processes. - Knowledge of benefits administration and employment regulations. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and customer service abilities. - Experience conducting audits and managing employee records. - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
