Job Details:

Location: Remote - Work from home on your personal computer
Schedule: Flexible hours available, with options for Monday/Wednesday or weekends (PST)
Pay: Up to $75 per hour, depending on experience
Instruction: Virtual tutoring sessions, offering both 1:1 and group instruction

About the Role:

As a Civil Engineering tutor, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalized lessons to students of various levels. Your role will focus on creating an engaging and interactive learning experience tailored to each student's needs. You'll have the freedom to choose your tutoring hours and accept assignments based on your availability, making this a highly flexible job that fits your schedule.

Responsibilities:

Provide expert tutoring in Civil Engineering, helping students grasp concepts and improve their academic performance
Adapt teaching style to suit individual student needs, making learning both effective and enjoyable
Communicate effectively with students, addressing questions and concerns as they arise
Foster a supportive and positive learning environment
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress
Stay updated on the latest in Civil Engineering education to ensure your lessons are current and relevant

Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred)
Previous tutoring/teaching experience is highly desirable
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and approachable way
Ability to make learning fun and engaging, tailoring sessions to meet the needs of the student
Willingness to pass a background check (if required)
