What You'll be Doing:
You will design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications, integrating AI models into the web experience while collaborating closely with business and product teams.
You'll report to the Director, Application Development.
During a Typical Day, You'll:
Front-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive web UIs that are scalable and efficient.
· Cloud-Native Application Development: Build, test, and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging GCP services, including Vertex AI, Cloud Run, and Kubernetes Engine.
· API Development: Develop APIs for seamless integration between front-end applications, third-party services, and AI models hosted in the cloud.
· Collaboration with DevOps: Work with DevOps teams to establish continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient deployment.
· Prototyping and Scaling AI: Assist in formulating strategies for rapid prototyping and scaling of AI capabilities using cloud-based services.
· Performance and Quality: Ensure the performance, quality, and reliability of applications across cloud platforms.
· Coding Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
· Mentorship: Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Mentor junior engineers, providing technical direction and support.
· Innovation and Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, AI tools, and industry trends to drive continuous innovation in AI application development.
What You Bring to the Role
· 2+ years of experience in developing responsive web UIs.
· Strong JavaScript skills (React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks)
· Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Vertex AI, Cloud Run, and Kubernetes Engine.
· Experience with API development and cloud-native application architectures.
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
· Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and product management.
· Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning and applying new technologies.

The anticipated range is $120,000-130,000. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
