Our client, a major supplier of home goods and appliances, is seeking their Warehouse Manager to join their team. The Second Shift Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations from 2:pm until closing, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, pick, pack load and distribution of goods. They will lead and manage a team to ensure safety, accuracy, and timeliness in order fulfillment and inventory management. Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
-Oversee the nightly operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
-Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and workflows to optimize productivity.
-Maintain stock accuracy through regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
-Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations.
Team Leadership:
-Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and engagement.
-Schedule and allocate labor to meet workload demands while staying within budget.
-Monitor employee performance and provide feedback, coaching, or disciplinary action as needed.
-Promote teamwork and employee engagement initiatives.
Inventory & Equipment Management:
-Manage and maintain inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
-Monitor inventory accuracy by resolving discrepancies and investigating variances.
-Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
Safety and Compliance:
-Ensure the warehouse complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
-Implement and enforce safety protocols, including equipment checks and incident reporting.
-Conduct regular safety training and inspections to minimize workplace hazards.
-Maintain compliance with company policies and local, state, or federal regulations.
Reporting and Analysis:
-Generate regular performance reports, including metrics on productivity, inventory levels, and order accuracy.
-Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
-Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and procurement teams to improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
-Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
-Minimum of FIVE YEARS of experience in warehouse operations, with at least FOUR YEARS in a managerial role.
Skills and Competencies:
-Strong leadership and team management abilities.
-Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
-Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
-Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications (Preferred):
-Forklift Certification.
-OSHA Safety Training.
-Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar certifications.

Compensation:75k-85k plus all benefits potential Bonus
