Position Overview

This position is responsible for assisting the Distribution Center management. General office duties related to distribution reporting administration, and shipping / receiving documentation and fulfillment are also part of this position.

1st shift - Monday-Friday Start at 7:30am - until work is completed

You will contribute by:

• Control timely processing of Will Call orders.
• Coordinates and executes timely communication of receiving documents and timely reporting of discrepancies with BOL’s to respective departments. Filing of documents included.
• Control and allocate carrier resources to pick up and deliver freight in the most cost effective manner while maintaining service expectations.
• Coordinate execution of deliveries and provide status updates to internal/external partners through a variety of mediums including the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Facilitate communication and build strong working relationships among the operations, carriers, customer service, procurement, manufacturers and other ES3 team members.
• Facilitate carrier conversations to set expectations on service, capacity, communication and rates.
• Complete manufacturer and lane analysis, with an understanding of the revenue and expense components, providing recommendations for improvement; some negotiation and execution of changes will occur.
• Maintain data integrity of facilities, update rating and routing lanes, and other administrative tasks as needed.

• Specialized Knowledge : Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Special Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail. Basic computer skills.
