Tasting Room Steward

Location: Loudoun County, Virginia
Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time Available
Compensation: starting at $30 per hour, depending on experience

About the Role
As a Tasting Room Steward, you’ll be the face of our winery and offering warm hospitality, expert wine knowledge, and attentive service to every guest. You’ll guide visitors through curated tasting experiences, educate them on our sparkling wines, and ensure every detail contributes to an elevated and celebratory atmosphere. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a small, passionate team at the forefront of the Virginia wine scene.

Key Responsibilities
Lead guests through personalized sparkling wine tastings with confidence, charm, and professionalism
Communicate the story, process, and flavor profiles behind our brut, blanc de blancs, and rosé
Create a welcoming, engaging, and inclusive environment for all guests
Assist with opening and closing procedures, setup, restocking, and maintaining a clean, elegant space
Support bottle sales, club memberships, and private event experiences
Operate POS systems and handle transactions with accuracy and grace
Contribute to a team culture grounded in hospitality, accountability, and excellence

Qualifications:
Previous hospitality, wine, or tasting room experience preferred but not required
Passion for wine—especially sparkling—and a curiosity to learn more
Strong communication skills, polished presentation, and natural warmth
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Availability on weekends and some holidays
Must be 21 years of age or older
