Job Description



Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Talent Acquisition Coordinator position. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This is achieved through a partnership with managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the branches to deliver the best talent in the organization. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Manage posting of job openings 
  • Placing job advertisements via internal company communication channels as well as external platforms
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruitment channels and implementation for current/future needs
  • Work closely with staffing agencies to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process
  • Support company compliance initiatives 
  • Complete DOT and other employment verification requests
  • Gather and compile reports from HRIS, Applicant Tracking system
  • Administer and support the new hire onboarding process 
  • Enter accurate and complete information into HRIS.
  • Process, verify, and maintain new and current employee position specific paperwork (i.e. I-9s, background checks, Non-compete agreements) while following state(s) law.
  • Answering phone calls and emails from managers, employees, and applicants 
  • May explore new recruitment channels by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites and give recommendations to managers.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or needed 

Qualifications

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time
  • Desire to be a continual learner
  • Prior relevant HR experience a plus 
  • Knowledge of basic human resources concepts and systems a plus
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving ability
