- Hybrid Individual Contributors: must reside in AZ, unless otherwise cited within this posting, required to be onsite at least once per month
- Onsite: daily onsite requirement based on the essential functions of the job
- Remote: not held to onsite requirements, however, leadership can request presence onsite for business reasons including but not limited to staff meetings, one-on-ones, training, and team building
Please note that onsite requirements may change in the future, based on business need, and job responsibilities. Most employees should expect onsite requirements and at a minimum of once per month.
This internship requires work and residency in the state of Arizona.

What to Expect As a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst Intern, you'll learn techniques from BCBSAZ's QA experts to become proficient in completing sets of test cases. You'll participate in all phases of a project, from user story review, test design, demos to final system testing and launch, all while gaining valuable skills in a dynamic healthcare technology environment.
Pay: $18-$23 Hours: 20 - 40 hours per week (Depending on your school schedule. We're flexible!)
Duration: 8-12 weeks
Location: Onboarding, training, and some projects will be located at our 8220 N 23rd Ave. office in Phoenix, Arizona.
Throughout this Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona internship, you will: - Learn the BCBSAZ business model, organization, and impact on the community.
- Expand and develop knowledge through exposure to the roles within the quality assurance team.
- Participate on work teams, contribute to projects and initiatives, and perform various tasks as needed by the assigned unit/department.
- Research, analyze, track, and resolve basic IT problems.
- Respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems, and help develop solutions.
- Learn area's direct flow and how it affects surrounding systems and operational areas.
- Assist in maintaining records and process documentation.

Qualifications - High-School diploma or GED
- Two years attendance at an accredited school pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in computer technology or related technical field.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Intermediate PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office skills
