Job Description
Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Location: Hybrid in Jackson Hole, WY; Denver, CO; Nashville, TN; or Washington D.C. preferred - Remote options also available
Compensation: Competitive salary + equity stake + benefits
About the Role:
Are you ready to play a key role in driving the growth of an exciting company? We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity for an early-stage sales hire to collaborate with senior sales leadership, a dynamic team, and two founders who began their careers as SDRs. You'll help start conversations with top-tier tech companies that will ultimately lead to closed deals.
As part of a Series A-stage company in a proven, de-risked market, you'll be integral in helping us scale from $3M to $12M in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in the next two years. Plus, you'll be joining a company with a strong track record, as the founders' previous business was acquired for over $90M by SurveyMonkey.
What We're Looking For:
Proven Experience: At least 1 year of successful SDR experience, where you've contributed to the success of a sales team.
Coachable & Driven: You're open to feedback and are eager to implement it to improve your skills. You thrive on new challenges and are self-motivated to take action.
Learning Mindset: You're not afraid to fail because you understand that failure is an opportunity to learn. You actively seek help when needed and are eager to hear others' perspectives.
Self-Starter: You're organized, results-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects. You enjoy problem-solving and can navigate the collaborative process to turn ideas into successful actions.
Team Player with Competitive Spirit: You take pride in your success, but even more so in helping your peers grow and reach new levels of achievement. You celebrate collective wins as much as individual ones.
Excellent Communication: You are a clear and effective communicator, both in writing and in conversation. Listening is just as important to you as speaking.
Growth-Oriented: You're passionate about continuous learning and striving for excellence in all you do.
Key Responsibilities:
Research & Prospecting: Dive deep into prospective accounts to understand their goals, needs, and challenges, and tailor your approach to start meaningful conversations.
Mentorship: Collaborate with the SDR Manager to support and mentor junior SDRs in areas like cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement. Set the standard for persistence and effort, even in tough times.
Pain Point Identification: Understand the pain points of both prospects and existing customers, and effectively communicate how our solutions can address those challenges.
Outbound Strategy: Develop and refine outbound strategies based on your research to attract prospects and spark their interest in learning more.
Outreach: Execute a well-rounded outreach strategy with cold calls, customized emails, LinkedIn messages, and more. You should be comfortable managing a weekly load of 200 emails, 600 cold calls, and 100 LinkedIn messages (subject to change).
Follow-Up & Coordination: Coordinate follow-up conversations between prospects and the sales team to ensure a seamless transition and maximize engagement.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with leadership, marketing, and Account Executives to ensure your outreach aligns with the company's goals and messaging.
Feedback & Improvement: Share insights with marketing and leadership on how to refine collateral and enhance prospect engagement, helping to optimize our sales process.
Ownership: Own the end-to-end SDR process, from initial contact to follow-up, ensuring thorough documentation and leveraging software tools to stay organized and efficient.
Benefits:
Competitive salary, bonus structure, and equity plans.
Flexible hybrid/remote work options (DC, Jackson Hole, Denver) with occasional paid team bonding trips.
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents.
Excellent training and career growth opportunities in a rapidly growing company.
If you're looking to be part of a fast-paced, high-growth team and make a direct impact on the company's success, we want to hear from you! Join us and help build something big.
