Overview:
We(Cross Country Education) are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year to join our team in Collier County. This position involves working in an elementary classroom with a 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio, supported by ESE Assistants and a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our small class size allows for individualized support and small group instruction tailored to the unique needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lessons aligned with state standards and individual IEPs.
• Prepare IEPs and conduct data collection and progress monitoring for students on your caseload.
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and related service providers.
• Maintain accurate class records, including grades and progress towards IEP goals.
• Function effectively as a member of a collaborative classroom team.
• Attend CCPS District EESSS meetings as applicable and requested.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Education or a related field.
• Florida Teacher Certification in ESE (K-6 or K-12) is required.
• Additional certification in Elementary Education is preferred.

Additional Information:

• Hours: Full-time; hours will vary based on location.
• Dates: Immediate start through June 2, 2025.
