Showroom Sales Rep

Shift: 7:30a – 5p Monday - Friday

AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Showroom Sales Rep to be located in American Fork, UT. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Showroom Sales Rep will play a crucial role in the planning and implementation of new product launches and supporting marketing initiatives for the branch. The Showroom Sales Rep sells tile, wood flooring and services to new and existing accounts. The position is also be responsible for performing sales and service functions for targeted markets, programs and sales as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

• Assists customers and arranges payment in accordance with established guidelines.
• Performs in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions.
• Creates and maintains computer files and suspense for follow-up action.
• Provides advisory support and assistance to the department supervisor as needed
• Attends seminars, meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends and regulations in the marketplace.
• Provides administrative assistance and support.
• Initiate and follow up with customers to sell or resolve problems
• Answer phones
• Complete reports

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Interior design experience
• Associates degree in Interior Design desired
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to multitask and strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills in dealing with employees, management, and visitors
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must pass mandatory pre-employment drug test, physical, and criminal background check

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequently, Standing, walking, bending and sitting for extended periods are required to perform basic office functions.
• Frequently, Vision must be sufficient for inputting data into a computer.
• Occasionally, Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
