Your role in our mission

As a Technical Developer (EDI) will implement new and maintain existing B2B Trading Partners, transactions, communication protocols, and EDI solutions.

• Work closely with project management, business analysts, technical, and functional leads to design and implement solutions that are flexible, scalable, and reusable while meeting the business needs in timely manner.
• Map the data into various formats and execute the transactions in a web services environment
• Strong understanding of development life cycle.
• Strong facilitation skills to engage subject matter experts to define platform requirements and conduct detailed design reviews with project teams.
• Be proactive to issues regarding infrastructure, troubleshooting/debugging, user requests, etc.
• Experience with tuning and customizing default application reports.
• Experience with data delivery mechanisms using (S)FTP, and other protocols.
• Provide knowledgeable customer support, tuning and performance support.
• Working as an individual and/or team contributor as situation demands.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain and document the technology strategy to diverse audiences
• Creating and maintaining operational, configuration, procedural and other documentation.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of Applications Development with 5+ years of experience using the Trading Partner UI with either ITX (IBM Transformation Extender) or ITXA (IBM Transformation Extender Advanced).
• Experience with the design and creation of type trees and maps using the WTX/ITX design studio
• Mapping from various file formats (X12, X12 HIPAA, XML, Flat File Positional, CSV, NCPDP)
• Strong experience with EDI programming practices, standards and conventions to include EDI document standards for Healthcare Transaction Sets 270/271, 276/277, 834, 835, 837, etc.
• Strong understanding of Health care processes and hands on experience in supporting such processes.
• Experience with BPML, XML, XSLT, and XPath.
• Experience with SFTP, FTP, FTPS, AS2, TCP, UDP and SOAP (Web Service) protocols
• Experience operating in an AWS environment
• Experience in development of batch processes using Java is a plus

• Position 100% telecommute and is supporting a shared service (multi-tenant) -  work anywhere within the United States
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required
• Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
