Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description :

This role involves building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications on Kubernetes using Azure DevOps. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with development teams to deploy applications, manage incidents and outages, and ensure high availability and scalability. The role requires authoring software lifecycle documentation, providing technical mentorship, and ensuring the solutions run securely and efficiently at scale.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build CI/CD Pipelines : Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications on Kubernetes using Azure DevOps.
• Collaboration with Development Teams : Coordinate with development teams to ensure smooth application deployment and testing.
• Documentation : Author and maintain software lifecycle documentation related to application releases and deployments.
• Solution Building : Collaborate with various technology teams to build solutions that ensure applications run at scale, with a focus on security and service quality.
• Mentorship : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and peers.
• Incident Management : Troubleshoot, debug, and manage incidents and outages to minimize downtime and service disruption.
• Automation and Monitoring : Implement automated application testing and monitoring to ensure application health and performance.

Qualifications :

• Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience :
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, focusing on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven experience with Azure, AWS Cloud services, Kubernetes, Docker, and related tools.
• Technical Expertise :
  • Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automated application testing.
  • Strong experience in managing API services and working with Git, Python, and JIRA.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and collaborate across teams.
• Agile/Scrum : Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
