This is a great opportunity to work with one of the top commercial banking lenders in the U.S. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com. #commercialbanking **In this role, you will:** + Participate in performing financial research, underwriting, and structuring of highly complex private banking as well as consumer and mortgage relationships within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area + Review and research business financial statements and tax returns that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors + Resolve moderately complex issues and lead Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team, to meet project deliverables, while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements + Collaborate and consult with Commercial Banking Portfolio Management peers, colleagues, and mid level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals + Lead projects and teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals **Required Qualifications:** + 4+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + Experience with credit analysis of municipal entities + Experience working on Government credits: specifically, credit underwriting and origination, portfolio monitoring, renewals, and annual reviews and assigning and/or affirming the Borrower's credit quality (BQR and CQR) + Conducting medium to complex credit investigations, analyzing credit information for direct credit and treasury products + Servicing assigned portfolio with emphasis on timeliness and urgency coupled with accuracy; ability to prioritize and support new customer acquisition + Ensuring effective and efficient monitoring of credit and operating exposure consistent with the risk profile; makes appropriate and timely grading recommendations; and escalates credit, operational, reputation, and compliance risks + Solid knowledge and understanding of commercial banking credit policy, loan servicing, risk management, and group underwriting requirements + Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills **Job Expectations:** + This position does not support Visa Sponsorship + Ability to work a hybrid work schedule + Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
