Position Title:Security Supervisor

Department:Safety

Location:Greeley, CO- Value Added Plant

Purpose & Scope:

The JBS Greeley Value Added team is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee incoming and outgoing trucks with supplies and raw materials as well as oversee personnel entering/exiting the facility. This role will be based at our Value Added Facility in Greeley, CO. The Supervisor will be part of a team of about eight people. The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented and thrive on supporting a busy, fast-paced team; this role offers excellent growth potential.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Monitor plant activity
• Hourly rounds (checking trailer temperatures, room temperatures, and gates).
• Monitor all associates entering and exiting the facility including vehicle traffic
• Answering switchboard after hours
• Billing loads
• Conduct routine audits
• Follow and implement company policies
• Operate company owned vehicles if needed
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and operability as they are entering the facility
• Receive shipments of supplies and raw materials
• Flexibility to be available for proper coverage for absenteeism within department and assuring facility coverage 365 days/year, 24 hours, 7 days a week
• Perform assigned duties without direct supervision
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write and speak English, bilingual is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills preferred; Experience with SAP systems, Outlook, Teams, etc.
• Well organized with attention to detail

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Excellent communication, computer, organizational and multi-tasking skills

• Ability to problem solve
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced setting
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization
• Requires ability to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying terrain, in all weather conditions as well as up and down stairs
• Ability to work fulltime M-S; Weekends and overtime as needed as well as flexibility to rotate shifts as needed
• Ability to work holidays
• Security experience is preferred
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

Work Environment:

The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures, fast-paced setting, and exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives. Can further include slippery floors and loud noises.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• Base salary range of $46,342.00-52K
• Incentive Pay:This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program
