Work Arrangement: Remote

Location: Remote (U.S.-based only)

Duration: 12 Months | 2,088 Total Hours

Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders only.

Engagement Type: W-2 only. No sponsorships, Corp-to-Corp, or 1099 arrangements permitted.

Overview:

The client is seeking a Salesforce Engineer Entry to Mid-Level to design and specify information systems solutions for both basic and complex business challenges. The role will focus on developing, maintaining, and enhancing Salesforce-based applications, evaluating client requirements, and preparing application environments. This position will work across diverse development platforms and technologies, contributing to both project delivery and day-to-day application support in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform systems analysis, design, and development for small to medium scope Salesforce efforts and specific phases of larger projects.
  • Contribute as an individual engineer on complex projects while assisting in resolving daily technical issues.
  • Recommend feasible solutions and guide their implementation.
  • Coordinate development tasks, and may lead small to medium project efforts.
  • Participate in integrated testing, prepare test data, execute test plans, and complete debugging as needed.
  • Analyze complex interrelationships among programs and interfacing applications.
  • Prepare and review technical and functional specifications; update system documentation.
  • Create charts, tables, and diagrams to support problem analysis.
  • Recommend new Salesforce or related technologies, policies, or processes to improve efficiency and address deficiencies.
  • Provide consultation to clients, technicians, and departments on application functionality, operational procedures, and cost analysis.
  • Follow and promote development standards and procedures.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of supported applications, development environments, and client business processes.
  • Ensure compliance with risk, regulatory, and internal control standards.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment that reflects the clients brand.
  • Perform other related duties, including due diligence, vendor analysis, and cost/benefit studies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree and 4+ years of systems analysis/application development experience, or a combined minimum of 6 years higher education/work experience including at least 4 years in systems analysis/application development.
  • Familiarity with application development software and hardware problem-solving.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and relevant project management, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage moderately complex to complex projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with presentation experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; detail-oriented with strong lateral thinking abilities.
  • Experience coordinating between Applications and business units.
  • Proven experience recommending and implementing systems solutions.
  • Track record of driving project milestones and meeting delivery dates.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of banking application frameworks.
  • Subject matter expertise in business processes and Salesforce applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of integrated/interfacing applications.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Proactive and action-oriented; able to multitask across multiple project components.
