The School of Yaya’s Fishes is searching for a full-time SAFE Swim Instructor to conduct lessons.
Your responsibilities would include “catching” and directing children during training in addition to documenting attendance, monitoring progress, and maintaining the pool area. You should also be able to help students with special needs to socialize with other students.Other duties may be assigned as needed. The right candidate will demonstrate patience and enthusiasm and be able to motivate students to accomplish their swimming goals.Ultimately, an exceptional swim instructor should communicate effectively with other staff, parents, and students and ensure that all water safety rules are followed.*** THE PAY AND PERKS:Full-time position available; pay is ($15-$17/hour, depending on experience). No weekend hours. No holidays.*** REQUIREMENTS:- Swim team or swim coaching experience is heavily preferred.
- Nursing certifications or sports management experience is preferred, but not required
- Excellent conflict resolution skills
- Effective communication skills
- Patient, passionate, and enthusiastic
- Must have reliable transportation to and from our location
