The Role: The RV General Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire RV sales department, including sales personnel, operations, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic and results-driven professional who can lead by example, drive sales, and maintain high standards of customer service and team performance. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Sales Leadership:
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the RV sales team, setting sales targets and ensuring they are achieved.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales personnel to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Inventory Management:
  • Oversee the inventory of RVs, ensuring it is well-maintained, priced competitively, and aligned with market demand.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to stock the right mix of RV models and accessories.
Customer Service:
  • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service throughout the sales process.
  • Address customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Generate sales reports, forecasting, and analysis to provide insights and recommendations.
Budget Management: * Develop and manage the sales department's budget, including expenses related to personnel, marketing, and inventory.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in RV or automotive sales, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in sales software, CRM systems, and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of RV industry trends and products.
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Effective communication skills: written and verbal
