Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: As a Reservationist, you’ll play a crucial role in managing reservations and ensuring our guests feel valued and taken care of. Your duties will include:

• Displaying a thorough understanding of Gage & Tollner’s brand, culture, and offerings.
• Demonstrating our company’s founding principles in all communications.
• Responding to reservation inquiries and managing bookings via phone and email.
• Maintaining a polished and professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Following all company policies and procedures, as outlined in our Employee Handbook.
• Participating in scheduled meetings, training sessions, and ongoing education.
• Caring for company property and maintaining safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
• Complying with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Qualifications: To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Accessibility via email and phone for effective communication.
• Familiarity with software such as point of sales, reservations management, inventory management, Google Workspace, Resy, Slack, and Toast.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• A positive, results-oriented, team-player mentality.
• The ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and local Department of Health standards.
• A strong desire to strive for excellence within our dynamic team.
• Experience with Resy, Toast, and Slack is preferred but not required.

  Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including:

  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently standing, walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
  • Utilizing stairs while carrying heavy items.
  • Sitting or standing for prolonged periods at a desk and work station.
