We're looking for a talented and licensed Loan Escrow Officer to join our growing team (remote, USA only)! In this full-time role, you'll be the hero behind the scenes, guiding real estate transactions to a smooth and secure closing.
What You'll Do:
Oversee the entire escrow process, making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
Become a document ninja, preparing, reviewing, and filing all the necessary paperwork.
Bridge the gap between buyers, sellers, lenders, and everyone else involved, keeping communication clear and efficient.
Draft and follow escrow instructions meticulously, ensuring all agreements are met before closing.
Be the guardian of the funds, safeguarding and managing them according to legal guidelines.
Ensure everything complies with the latest laws and regulations, keeping deals on the right side of legal.
Work with title companies to issue title insurance and address any title bumps that might come up.
Provide excellent customer service, keeping everyone informed and happy throughout the process.
Maintain meticulous records, keeping track of everything in our secure system.
Be a problem-solving pro, identifying and resolving any issues that might pop up.
Stay on top of your game by keeping up with the latest escrow and lending regulations.
You're a Perfect Fit If:
You have a high school diploma (a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or real estate is a plus!).
You hold a valid Escrow Officer License in the state you'll be working from (check out the specific requirements!).
You might also need a Title Insurance Producer/Agent License depending on your state and role in issuing title insurance.
You're familiar with RESPA and TILA regulations (think real estate settlement and truth in lending).
You have 3-5 years of experience in escrow, mortgage, real estate, or a similar field (experience with both residential and commercial deals is a big plus!).
On top of that, you're:
A master of escrow procedures, title insurance, and mortgage lending.
An organizational whiz who can juggle multiple tasks with ease.
A detail-oriented detective who never misses a beat.
A software whiz who can handle escrow management software and office tools like a pro.
A communication rockstar with excellent written and verbal skills.
