Job Description

Title:  Quality Inspector-Administration 

Location: Allentown, Pa

Schedule: Monday-Friday 2 nd shift 2:30pm-11:00pm

Type: Contract

Pay: 20.25/hr + 1.25/hr shift difference

Start date: Immediate

Responsibilities:

  • Issuance, circulation, tracking, distribution and maintenance of New and Revised packaging record documents including documentation review
  • Manage physical inventory of packaging record document files
  • Assure proper formatting, numbering, revision control and archiving of packaging record documents
  • Responsible for reviewing the work of peers and releasing components at the discretion of QA management.
  • Responsible for participating in internal, customer, and regulatory audits at the discretion of senior management.
  • Responsible for training designated peers at management request. 
  • Execution and documentation of required IR and Global Vision testing.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years related experience or High School Degree with at least 4 years related experience
  • Inspection experience in a GMP environment preferred
  • Knowledge of quality control processes in a packaging or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform meticulous inspections.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
