Job Brief: We are seeking a skilled API QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing on all API developments to ensure code runs smoothly and meets client needs. If you have a strong understanding of API platforms, enjoy problem-solving, and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute API test cases and scenarios.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs to resolution.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Assist in project planning to identify potential issues.
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
• Ensure that all tests are executed and provide regular feedback to the team lead on the status of quality.

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as an API Tester or similar role in software development.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills to effectively report findings and recommendations.
