Job Description

- Location: Remote with preference for local candidates; team is onsite 3 days per week
- Contract Duration: 6 months (through March), 10-20 hrs/week, with the possibility of ramping up to 40 hours per week or extending, depending on 2025 data readout
- Targeted Bill Rate: $200/hr –two other agencies are working on this, so we need to stay competitive

Our client, a small biotech company in the Boston area, seeks a part-time Project Manager with expertise in Large Molecule / CMC for a six-month contract. This role, which may increase to full-time in 2025, will support early asset activities, including ongoing discussions with CMOs around tech transfer, drug substance, and drug product. The contractor will handle responsibilities such as attending meetings, developing plans, building and managing timelines, and coordinating activities. This role requires experience in similar projects, strong technical skills and the ability to hit the ground running.

Required Skills:
1. 10-15 years of industry experience (targeting mid-level experience, not 30+ years)
2. Strong experience in Large Molecule / CMC, bonus for candidates who can support clinically focused BLA prep work (e.g., timeline support, PK, or clinical deliverables)
3. Strong familiarity with Smartsheet
4. Proactive Risk Management: Experience in creating and managing timelines, assessing risk, and organizing and communicating information from meetings
