Job Description:

We are seeking a mid-level Product Owner with a strong Agile background to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the team backlog, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration of business processes. This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and prioritize a backlog of user stories, ensuring they include clear acceptance criteria.
• Analyze cross-functional business processes and create integrated user stories using industry-standard techniques.
• Manage dependencies and adapt to shifting priorities across sprints and Program Increments (PIs).
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders, tailoring messages to different audiences.
• Utilize critical thinking to proactively manage stakeholder expectations.
• Participate in Agile Release Train (ART) and Scrum team ceremonies.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, other Product Owners, and the Scrum Master.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced Product Owners and Product Analysts.
• Work within an Agile delivery framework to enhance product development efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban).
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence .
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent IT delivery training/experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance standards.
• Strong familiarity with the retail industry .
• Understanding of DevOps and Security best practices .

• This is a contract position with the potential for extension.
• Currently, there are no open full-time (FTE) positions available.
