Job Description

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong financial background to manage the accounting responsibilities across multiple entities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, from bookkeeping and preparing financial statements to ensuring compliance and preparing for tax season.

As a Personal Accountant & Bookkeeper, you will be managing the financial operations of several businesses, including LLCs and C-Corporations. You'll work with modern tools and platforms such as Mercury, Brex, Arc, and Ramp, all while following best practices in accounting standards (US GAAP / accrual basis).

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping & Financial Management:

Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, ensuring timely and accurate weekly and monthly closings.
Prepare detailed and comprehensive financial statements.
Attribute expenses correctly across various companies.
Tax Preparation:

Prepare all financial records in advance of the quarterly tax season.
Ensure full adherence to tax regulations, compliance, and deadlines.
Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CPA, with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
In-depth knowledge of tax codes, laws, and financial regulations.
Experience in financial forecasting and risk analysis.
Soft Skills:

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Mindset & Approach:

Proactive in identifying and solving problems.
Strong ethical standards, with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
