We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of various areas of law, including Workers Compensation, Immigration, and Securities Law. This role is essential in supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and timely.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive document reviews to prepare case files for litigation.
Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all relevant documents are easily accessible.
Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.
Provide executive administrative support to attorneys as needed, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
Research legal precedents and case law to support ongoing litigation efforts.
Collaborate with clients, experts, and other professionals to facilitate case preparation.
Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures throughout the litigation process.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment.
Strong skills in document review and file management.
Excellent organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with contract law and its applications in litigation.
Knowledge of Workers Compensation Law, Immigration Law, and Securities Law is preferred.
Proficient interviewing skills for gathering information from clients and witnesses.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
