About the Role
We are looking for a talented and versatile Motion Designer with a strong focus on Paid Social to join our Brand & Creative team. This role is ideal for a skilled designer who is passionate about creating engaging, conversion-oriented visuals through video and animation. You will primarily work on paid social campaigns across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and influencer-driven content, while also supporting animation and video projects for YouTube and long-form content.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance our motion design direction across paid media channels, ensuring a cohesive brand experience across all video and animation touchpoints.
Design high-performing paid social ads, including static, animated, and video concepts optimized for various platforms and formats.
Utilize industry-standard motion graphics software (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro) to create compelling video assets, from short-form ads (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) to long-form content (YouTube explainer videos).
Concept, storyboard, and execute creative assets, working from existing designs or developing new ideas from scratch.
Collaborate closely with marketing and product design teams to bring the brand's story to life through impactful visuals, iconography, typography, photography, animation, and infographics.
Identify and pitch creative ideas that drive business and user engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
4-6 years of experience in marketing design, with a focus on motion and video design.
A strong portfolio showcasing diverse design styles, with a proven track record in paid social creative.
Experience in conversion-oriented design and a demonstrated ability to create high-performing paid social ads.
Proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Strong understanding of paid social formats and online video delivery best practices.
Excellent grasp of design principles, including typography, color theory, and composition.
Strong storytelling skills and the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling animations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and receive feedback in an iterative design process.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in DTC (direct-to-consumer) or financial services is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this full-time position is $91,000 - $148,000, based on role, experience, and location. In addition to base salary, we offer competitive benefits, including bonus opportunities, equity options, and comprehensive health benefits.
