Outside Golf Operations Assistant Manager
Golf Course in Houston, Texas is looking for an Outside Golf Operations Assistant Manager.
Position Overview:
Support the Golf Operations Manager in overseeing daily golf operations, ensuring a high level of service and exceptional experience for all guests. This role involves managing staff, coordinating events, and maintaining the golf course and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily Operations: Assist in managing daily golf operations, including tee time scheduling, guest services, and golf cart management.
• Ensure adherence to club policies and procedures to maintain a high-quality experience for guests.
• Staff Management: Supervise golf operations staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a positive team environment and promote excellent customer service standards.
• Customer Service: Interact with members and guests to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Promote golf programs, events, and services to enhance player engagement.
• Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing golf tournaments, outings, and special events.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
• Facility Maintenance: Monitor the condition of the golf course, practice areas, and facilities.
• Coordinate with the maintenance staff to ensure optimal course conditions.
Requirements:
Previous experience in golf operations or a related role is preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and golf management software.
