Job Description

Aspen Fiber Networks, a leading information technology solutions provider, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' network infrastructures.

As a Network Engineer, you will work closely with our clients to understand their networking needs and provide innovative solutions. You will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting network equipment, optimizing network performance, and ensuring network security.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions based on client requirements.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
  • Optimize network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Monitor network traffic and security threats, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in networking.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in network engineering and design.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with configuring and troubleshooting network equipment (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
  • Experience with network monitoring and security tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) are a plus.
