Title: .net web developer - Optimizely, SQL, React or Angular

Location: Remote in Illinois ONLY - Candidates outside of Illinois will not be considered

Salary: $110-125K

The Web Developer Provides a lead role in the development, implementation and support of the organization’s web applications. The position is responsible for testing and validating, troubleshooting any issues, and following change management processes. This person will work in an open, collaborative environment within our existing friendly, driven emerging technology team.

A. Design, code, test, and implement web sites and applications using current standard methodologies and responsive design techniques.

B. Work within the framework of the CRM system to enhance existing functions and create new web functions and pages within the eBusiness website

C. Communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel to understand and define user needs, gather and analyze data and document the recommended solutions.

D. Perform needs analyses and assessments to determine systems methodology best suited to end-user goals

E. Work closely with staff members and vendors to plan and implement projects for using web systems within an overall project design.

F. Participate in regular content and functionality pushes to the web, including testing and validation, troubleshooting any issues, and following change management processes.

G. Research, evaluate, and recommend new tools and applications.

H. Create or revise technical documentation to aid in future development and troubleshooting.

I. Establish and maintain good communication and working relationships with staff, end users, and others to ensure highest level of productivity and effectiveness.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in website development with .NET/C#

• Experience with Aptify, Optimizely (formerly Episerver), and Digizuite preferred.

• Understanding of relational databases – multi-table querying, grouping, optimization, design.

• Good understanding of version control systems, such as Git.

• Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.

• Proficient in .NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL.

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular

• Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.

• Solid ability in both written and verbal communication.

• Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology.

• High degree of independent judgment and able to solve complex problems.

• Dedicated team player.

• Genuinely excited about technology, have a strong interest in learning about and building compelling web applications and UIs with the latest technologies.
