Job Description: .NET Developer (C2H, WFH)

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and dedicated .NET Developer to join our team on a Contract-to-Hire (C2H) basis. This is a remote/work-from-home opportunity for a developer who is passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in .NET development and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Development :
   • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Framework , .NET Core , and C# .
   • Build and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services.
2. Database Management :
   • Develop and optimize database solutions using SQL Server and Entity Framework .
   • Write complex queries, stored procedures, and ensure data integrity.
3. Code Quality :
   • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards.
   • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of applications.
4. Collaboration :
   • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
   • Collaborate with frontend developers for API integration and ensure smooth functionality.
5. Agile Development :
   • Participate in Agile processes like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
6. Troubleshooting :
   • Diagnose and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise :
  • 3+ years of experience in .NET development.
  • Proficient in C# , .NET Core , ASP.NET MVC , and ASP.NET Web API .
  • Hands-on experience with Entity Framework or EF Core.
  • Strong understanding of SQL Server for database design, querying, and optimization.
• Frontend Knowledge (Optional but Valuable) :
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks.

• Development Tools :
  • Proficiency in Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code .
  • Experience with version control systems like Git .
• Additional Skills :
  • Knowledge of dependency injection and design patterns (e.g., Repository, Factory).
  • Familiarity with Azure services and DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus.
