Job Title: MuleSoft Developer Trucking & Logistics

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Developer with a strong background in the trucking and logistics industry to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, maintain, and support integrations between enterprise and third party systems-including legacy platforms-to streamline operations, enhance data flow, and improve supply chain efficiency. This is a remote position, open to qualified candidates based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and provide ongoing support for MuleSoft integrations, APIs, and connectors to support transportation management, freight tracking, and logistics workflows.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
• Integrate MuleSoft with ERP, TMS, CRM, and legacy systems such as EDI and AS400 .
• Optimize data flows to improve shipment visibility, route planning, and fleet management efficiency.
• Implement and maintain API security, governance, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve integration issues to ensure high system availability and reliability.
• Document technical designs, integration flows, and API specifications.
• Provide production support including issue resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
• Experience in the trucking, freight, or logistics industry with a solid understanding of transportation workflows, EDI transactions, and supply chain processes.
• Strong experience building APIs (RAML or OAS/Swagger) and integrating with REST, SOAP, and message-based systems.
• Proficiency with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, and API Manager.
• Experience integrating with legacy systems , specifically EDI standards (e.g., 204, 214, 210) and AS400/iSeries applications.
• Experience configuring and managing Jenkins pipelines
• Comfortable with managing and troubleshooting ActiveMQ brokers
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to handle both new development and ongoing support/maintenance for enterprise integrations.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of freight tracking standards and carrier API integrations.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
• MuleSoft Developer certification (MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 or higher).
