Charlotte Pipe is headquartered in Charlotte, NC, and has seven plant locations across the United States.

Charlotte Pipe and Foundry , located in Monroe, NC, is looking for a Utility with a proven track record to join our team. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Investment in the latest tooling and machinery make it possible for us to meet increasing demand for our products and to provide the highest quality pipe and fittings in the industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean material pump filters at least twice per shift
• Clean out material filter cleaning stations once per shift
• Sweep and mop floors
• Operate forklift 
• Responsible for cleaning assigned injection mold machines
• Operate power sweeper and scrubber in production areas
• Keep work area and equipment up to 5S housekeeping standards
• Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform job duties
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor  

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or the equivalent
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Successful completion of Mechanical Reasoning Assessment
