Join Our Team as a Mold Technician! In this job you will provide technical support to a variety of molding machine. You will work in a production environment, engage in continuous productive activity, and must meet requirements. Tasks require a high degree of eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, and the use of both hands and arms on a repetitive basis for a full range of motion. You will frequently use hand and power tools. As a Mold Machine Technician, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team.
Key Responsibilities - Setting up molds to prepare them for production cycle.
- Perform painting operations on intellirupter parts and sensors
- Assemble upper and middle sensors
- Understand operation and PM requirements on various machines
- Ability to use UV lighting chamber for identifying bad mix
- Successfully troubleshoot intermediate equipment issues
- Perform sandblasting operations as required
- Ability to start and shut off mold machine following proper sequencing
- Ability to perform vacuum sequence after changing material
- In this job you will be required to participate in a medical surveillance program coordinated by S&C’s health service professionals.
What You’ll Need To Succeed - Experience operating and setting up mold machines
- Ability to use basic math and measuring tools
- Ability to work from blue prints, ordinary drawings and specifications.
- Ability to use a variety of hand-held tools and air-impact tools.
Relevant Experience Required - At least 2 years of mold machine experience
