Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth administrative operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients and visitors with a welcoming attitude
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Maintain patient records and manage patient flow in the office
- Verify insurance information and handle billing inquiries
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and handling mail
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely and efficient patient care
- Address patient questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in using office equipment and computer systems (e.g., MS Office, electronic medical records)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
