Job Overview

The Sr Manager, Strategy & Planning supports planning and execution for strategic and operational activities aimed at maximizing time spent and quality of discussion for senior leadership. This role coordinates and drives projects of high importance and high visibility and requires a high degree of business acumen, discretion, urgency, and strong project management skills to be successful.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for agile delivery across the organization to deliver high quality products and services efficiently; ensures value is delivered to stakeholders while adhering to agile principles. You’ll be the lead for building a high performing team of scrum masters and agile coaches to foster collaboration, drive delivery and execution, scale agile practices, increase innovation, and build on adopting an agile mindset in our team culture.
  • Lead the program management for the Center of Excellence organization within Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain which includes end to end data program management oversight as well as ERP and non-ERP reporting program management oversight through a variety of ceremonies and meetings throughout the transformation program.
  • As the COE Program Management lead, you will be accountable for the operating rhythm and management system for the Center of Excellence organization responsible for business data and AI initatitives across the Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain organization. The operating rhythm includes agenda-setting across multiple meeting forums, designing productive agendas for leadership offsites, sharing action items and follow-ups to key business owners, and setting strategic priorities and objectives tied to KPIs.
  • Lead a small team of high-performing individuals which includes scrummasters, agile coaches, program managers, and business operations managers.
  • Deliver on special projects as assigned, using a creative and strategic approach to scoping and solving across a diverse range of subject matter.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education :

  • Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, Business or related field (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree MBA (Preferred)

Work Experience :

  • 7-10 years Professional experience in Finance, Operations, Strategy, Analytics, Consulting (Required)
  • Telecom experience is strongly preferred (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Quantitative Analytics- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, particularly modeling; strong bias towards data-based decision making. (Required)
  • Financial Planning- Demonstrated ability to lead financial elements of the business, including budgets. Ability to measure, evaluate and act on financial and operational results. (Required)
  • Communication- Strong written and verbal communication skills (Required)
  • Executive Level Presentations- Build and present executive-level business narratives (Required)
  • Cross Functional Relationships-Proven ability to work across organizational departments and develop positive relationships across a company. You can navigate across the organizations fluidly at multiple levels. (Required)

  • Strategy- Comfortable working and leading in an environment of uncertainty and complexity. Understanding of, and the ability to navigate in, large complex organizations. (Required)

Base Pay Range: $118,400 - $213,600

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
