Logistics Specialist

Cambridge MA (Hybrid 3 days onsite in a week)

The Order Fulfillment Specialist 50 is responsible for recording and implementing sales orders while upholding the required quality data standards to ensure timely delivery of goods to the customer, working under general supervision. The role consists of daily operations, monitoring KPIs to meet targets and ensuring performance aligns with organizational goals, while supporting colleagues in following standard processes and SAP navigation. This role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, capturing team issues and driving solutions with relevant stakeholders. The role creates and monitors sales orders manually and through automated channels, addressing root causes of non-touchless flow issues and maintaining comprehensive reporting for decision-making.


Main area of responsibilities:
Manages Orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery to the Customer.
Process and track Customer Orders in the SAP ERP System, provide updates.
Prepare Paperwork for Transportation, including, Bills of Lading and Commercial Invoices, Dangerous Goods Documents, Labels and packing slips.
Serve as a subject matter expert on the fulfillment system. Stay up to date on industry's best practices and recommend improvements to better utilize system features and functionality for optimal efficiency.


Represent the Order Processing function on all interdepartmental committees requiring processing support. Work directly with various levels of leadership across the organization to present recommendations and findings.
Performs other duties as assigned.


To succeed in this role, you will need to have the following knowledge and experience in the following area:

Export/Trade Compliance .

SAP ERP Sales Order Processing , Standard Orders, Project Orders, RMA's.
MS Office Tools, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams.
Excellent communication skills with strong oral and written English-language knowledge.


Required education or experience:
Associate's degree in business or related field required, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years related experience in Customer Service environment/ Finance /International Operations preferred.
Knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel (intermediate to advanced), Teams, Outlook.
Dangerous Goods Certification or the ability to obtain within thirty days.
Knowledge of SAP ERP


Education
High School Diploma, Vocational Education/ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations or equivalent.


Work Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as Order Management, Logistics, Process Improvement, Business Administration or equivalent OR no prior experience with Bachelor's Degree.
