Welldone Chemical is a fast-growing, global provider of high-quality chemical solutions for industrial and manufacturing applications. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our Houston-based team. This individual will be a key player in ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods from our factories to customer distribution centers across North and South America.
Position Overview
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating shipments, working closely with internal departments, third-party logistics partners, and customers. Your ability to manage multiple moving parts, prioritize fast-paced shipments, and identify cost-saving opportunities will be critical to success in this role. This is a hybrid position based from Houston, Texas.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate stock movement from factory to customer distribution points, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Collaborate daily with internal Sales and Purchasing departments to align logistics with business needs.
Communicate with customers to arrange shipments and facilitate customs clearance.
Manage relationships with multiple logistics partners and coordinators to streamline the end-to-end process.
Maintain deep knowledge of import/export regulations across North and South America.
Ensure compliance with international customs clearance, tariffs, and documentation requirements.
Handle urgent and time-sensitive shipments with precision and efficiency.
Identify and implement cost-saving strategies within the logistics and shipping process.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably with international shipping exposure.
Strong understanding of freight forwarding, customs processes, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and time zones.
Proven track record in managing complex logistics operations and achieving cost optimization.
Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a strong plus but not required.
