Job Description

Note : This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at either the Arlington, Austin, or Houston office.

Note:  Our client is hiring both mid-level and senior associates.

Bonuses : Typically range from an additional $20,000 to $30,000 on top of the salary listed in this ad.

Job Description:

  • Work closely with firm partners on all aspects of litigation management
  • Conduct document review and legal research
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and responses
  • Take depositions and attend mediations
  • Prepare for and attend trials and arbitrations

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of litigation experience
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas
  • Preferred, but not required: experience in construction, insurance defense, or real estate law
  • Strong legal research, writing, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
